During this time, it is easy to become highly stressed. This is understandable. Now, more than ever, it is important to maintain your mental and physical health. These are our suggestions in staying mentally and physically healthy.

Adopt a Yoga Practice

Adopt a yoga practice. This will allow you to relax and loosen up both mentally and physically. There are many online classes by Yoga Journal. You can also subscribe to the magazine and practice the poses they provide you with.

Do Aerobic Exercise at Least Three Times Per Week

Doing aerobic exercise three times per week for thirty minutes each session really helps your overall well-being. It will keep you in excellent shape physically. It will also help you be happier during this trying time. You might want to try bicycling, walking, or rock climbing in remote areas instead of going to the gym to avoid this pandemic.

Do Strength-Training

Having a strength-training routine will really help you be in great shape. You only need to do this two to three times per week in order to get the results you want. You actually do not have to go to the gym to maintain a strength-training routine. Instead, you can practice weight-bearing exercises at home.

Meditate Every Day

Meditating daily will really help you stay mentally healthy during this time. It will clear your mind and allow you to calm yourself and control your worries. You should meditate for twenty minutes twice per day for the best results. It is best to meditate once every morning and once every night. However, just three minutes per day can really make a huge difference.

We hope these tips help you stay happy and healthy during this trying time. Continue taking care of your physical and mental health and you should be just fine. You deserve to know how to protect yourself from this pandemic.

Go Pedal

A great way to work out is to go pedal a bike. Like us, we enjoy all disciplines of cycling including Road Riding, Gravel Grinding and Mountain biking.  This is our meditation and a fantastic way to get outdoors to let off some steam, have fun away from crowds, and to mentally discharge negative thoughts. Pedal hard and ease your mind.
